The staff were incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. The breakfast had plenty of choice to suit all tastes, and the breakfast room was nice. The old building had lots of character, with high ceilings and big rooms. The bedroom was comfortable and had a nice view across the valley, and the bathroom was modern and a good size. The location was gorgeous, at the top part of the town with great views, and there was plenty to explore. The hotel had a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, and the air conditioning made for a comfortable stay. Would recommend for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in a beautiful location.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of a historic city center. It's convenient for exploring the charming town of Colle Val d'Elsa and also offers easy access to various places in the Siena region. Additionally, the hotel provides free nearby parking, which is a great perk. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I particularly loved the option of choosing what to eat from behind a glass, and being served as many times as I wished.

The hotel had a charming and traditional decoration, with beautiful antique furniture and high ceilings that made me feel like I was staying in a grand old mansion. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable place to relax and chat with the other guests. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself. There were ramps and elevators available, and the staff were always willing to assist me with my bags or any other needs I had. It was a truly accommodating experience for someone of my age.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have more staff available to assist with various tasks. Although the children working there were helpful and friendly, they seemed a bit overwhelmed at times with all the guests.
